Highline Future Teachers Kelly Linderman Scholarship

The purpose of the Highline Future Teachers Kelly Linderman Scholarship Fund is to recognize outstanding graduates of Highline Academy in pursuit of a teaching/education career, and to honor Kelly Linderman, whose passion for teaching impacted many students. To learn more about Kelly, click here.

Eligibility:
Students who meet ALL of the following criteria are encouraged to apply:
- Graduated from Highline Academy Charter School
- Earned a cumulative 3.0 GPA in High School
- Interest in pursuing teaching/education career
- Planning to enroll at an accredited, not-for-profit, 2- or 4-year college or university in the United States in the upcoming 2020-2021 academic year.

Selection:
Recipients will be selected based on their academic achievement, embodiment of Highline Academy’s core values (Responsibility, Empowerment, Aspiration, Citizenship, and Honesty) in their personal and academic life, their professional interest in teaching/education, as well as a character reference

Awards:
Awards can be used for tuition and fees. All scholarships will be paid directly to a recipient’s school, and must be used for the upcoming academic year. Award disbursement is contingent upon the outside scholarship policies of a recipient’s college or university.
